How do I determine the correct size for a life jacket or PFD?
To find the perfect fit, measure the circumference of the widest part of your chest. Each product page includes a specific size chart. A life jacket should fit snugly but comfortably, and should not rise above your ears when someone pulls up on the shoulders.
What is the standard shipping time for wakeboards and larger equipment?
Standard shipping typically takes 3-7 business days within the continental US. Due to their size, items like paddleboards and large towable tubes may be shipped via freight, which can extend delivery times by an additional 2-3 days.
What is your return policy for water sports gear?
We offer a 30-day return policy for most items in new, unused condition with original packaging. Please note that for safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on gear that has been used in the water unless it is found to have a manufacturing defect.
Do O'Brien products come with a warranty?
Yes, most O'Brien products carry a one-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects from the date of purchase. This covers structural issues but does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or impact damage from jumps or obstacles.
How should I care for my inflatable tubes and paddleboards to ensure longevity?
Always rinse your gear with fresh water after use, especially in salt water. Deflate slightly if leaving the product in the sun to prevent over-expansion from heat, and ensure the item is completely dry before folding it for long-term storage to prevent mold.
